Our Registered Email Address service provides you with an email address for you company, compliant with the requirements of the Companies Act 2006, as updated by the Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act 2023. Mail received to your email address can be forwarded to up to 25 recipients to keep all your officers and senior staff in the loop.

This email address is intended for receiving statutory notices only and should not be used as a general correspondence address. The address does not support sending outgoing emails. Subject to fair usage policy.

Company directors are responsible for reporting certain changes (e.g. change of registered office address, change of directors) to Companies House. If you sign up for one of our services and would like to make use of our address either as your registered office address, as a service address, or both, then this will need to be reported. When you sign up, we will submit the necessary report to Companies House to make sure you are compliant. With our Startup and Established packages, each year you will receive 5 free updates for standard changes (see below for the list of standard changes).

If you require additional or complex changes, we can also perform these on an ad-hoc basis. If you subscribe to our Established plan, you will receive a discount on additional and complex updates.

The annual confirmation statement provides a periodic check that the information Companies House has about your company is correct. All of our packages include the preparation and submission of your confirmation statement. We will be in touch shortly before it falls due to confirm that all the details are correct.

Companies House charges a fee for the filing of a confirmation statement, and we will pass this onto you as a disbursement.

Company Directors are responsible for ensuring the statutory books are maintained and readily available for inspection. These include:

• Register of Members (shareholders or guarantors)
• Register of Directors
• Register of Directors’ Residential Addresses
• Register of Company Secretaries
• Register of People with significant control (PSC)

For companies registered in Scotland using our registered office address, we will make the statutory books available at the office for inspection.

For companies registered elsewhere in the UK, we will provide you with PDFs containing the contents of your registers for you to store at your registered office address or SAIL.

Where a member of the public wishes to make an inspection of the books, we will charge them £3.50 per hour or part thereof on your behalf, and we will also charge your business the same fee. This fee is prescribed by The Companies (Fees for Inspection and Copying of Company Records) Regulations 2007.

Private limited companies are no longer legally required to appoint a company secretary. Although there is no obligation to have one, there are a number of reasons that it can be beneficial. By selecting our Established package, we will act as your company secretary and update Companies House with the appointment.

Having a professional secretary appointed to your company will provide a boost to your image when it comes to your customers or suppliers conducting research on your business. It demonstrates a commitment to legal and regulatory compliance.
